Want to show your skills at movie-making? Here's your time to shine. The 5 Day Film Challenge gives you the opportunity to bring your big screen vision to life!

 

HOW DOES IT WORK? Simple. Attend one of our kick-off meetings to be assigned the following film prompts: genre, theme, character, prop, and line of dialogue. You will have 5 days from the kick-off to put a team together, write, and produce your 3-5 minute film. That's it! Entry fee is $15 per team. Read all of the instructions below very carefully.

Instructions:

  1. Read all of the Official Rules (click here).

  2. Gather your team and pick a Team Leader. The Team Leader will be responsible for filling out all team forms.

  3. Pick a Team Name! This is all-important, you'll include it on every form and in the opening moments of your film!

  4. Register for the challenge using this link (click here).

  5. Complete the $15 Team Registration Payment at our secure Square link: 

  1. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY: Attend one of our kickoff events:

    1. Friday, August 27th at 6 PM - Gateway Regional Arts Center , 101 E Main St, Mount Sterling, KY​

    2. Saturday, August 28th at 6 PM - Frenchburg United Presbyterian Church, 170 Main St, Frenchburg, KY

  2. Don't forget to attend the film screening at the Gateway Regional Arts Center on Friday, September 10th at 6 PM!
